1. What the service is — and is not

BrainLab Kids is a collection of free educational labs that teach children about the brain, built on established, published scientific phenomena. It is not medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic, and it carries no guarantee of educational outcomes. Labs run in the browser; most require no account.

2. Our claims line, as a term

We teach kids about their brain. We don't train brains to get smarter. The service promises understanding and experience — never measured cognitive improvement. Any score shown inside a lab is an observation about yourself today, not progress toward anything.

3. Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service, attempt to compromise it or other users, probe private sections, scrape, or interfere with its operation. Accounts used for abuse may be suspended.

4. Accounts

Accounts are for parents only. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and tell us if you believe your account is compromised. Children use the service under a parent's account or with no account at all.

5. Intellectual property

The site's content — labs, text, design, illustrations — is ours. Anything your child creates in a lab (drawings, built rooms, their Brain Map) is theirs.

6. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms. The short version: we collect no personal information from children, camera and microphone labs run entirely on your device, and parent accounts are optional and deletable.

7. Private sections

Parts of this site are private, invitation-only sections governed by separate written agreements. These terms apply there only as a floor; the separate agreement governs.

8. Liability

The service is provided as-is, free of charge during this phase. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us (currently: nothing). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates (venue to be confirmed by counsel). We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date, before they take effect.

Written in plain English deliberately. If any part is unclear, tell us and we'll fix the writing.
